Gareth is a hands-on landscaper with 20 years of experience in the industry. He founded Legendary Landscapes in December 2021 after spending nearly two decades building his skills across landscaping, construction and earthworks. Today, the business is based in Paraparaumu Beach and serves the entire Kapiti Coast, Porirua, Otaki and the wider region.

How It All Started
Gareth began his landscaping career in 2006 right here on the Kapiti Coast. It’s where he learned the trade, developed a feel for the local terrain, and discovered a genuine passion for transforming outdoor spaces. He then relocated to Nelson, where he spent several years working across residential and commercial projects — gaining deep experience in hard landscaping, soft landscaping, construction and earthworks. After building that breadth of experience, Gareth returned to the Kapiti Coast with his family and launched Legendary Landscapes — bringing everything he’d learned back to the community where it all began.
